Bill Quinn Head Coach Hobart Golf Now entering his third season as the head coach of the Hobart golf program, Bill Quinn is fast developing a reputation as a savvy coach with a keen eye for talent. During his two seasons with the Statesmen, Quinn led Hobart to 10 top-five tournament finishes and oversaw the meteoric development of All-Liberty League golfer Drew Slocum '06, who has three tournament wins. A 1968 graduate of Niagara University, Quinn played both golf and basketball for the Purple Eagles. For seven years prior to joining the Statesmen, he was an adjunct professor at Finger Lakes Community College, teaching both business and physical education classes. Along with teaching golf at FLCC, Quinn also coached the Lakers’ men’s basketball team. A licensed real estate broker since 1987, Quinn had previously served as director of athletics at St. Mary’s School in Canandaigua where he and his wife, Noreen, reside.
