GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart senior guard Colby Feane (Weedsport/Weedsport, N.Y.) and sophomore forward John Grazioli (St. Anthony’s/Melville, N.Y.) were named to the men’s basketball All-Liberty League second team today.

Feane led the Statesmen in scoring (13.0), three-point shooting percentage (.361), assists (2.9), and steals (1.8). In the conference, he ranks third in steals, sixth in assists, eighth in scoring, and ninth in free throw shooting (.767). The three-time Liberty League Guard of the Week was named the 2006 MVP of the Marymount Comcast Challenge. Feane scored a career-high 39 points in a win over North Carolina Wesleyan, the most points scored by a Liberty League player this season. He was a perfect 14-of-14 from the line against Battling Bishops, also tops in the conference this season.

Feane was a first-team All-Liberty League pick last season, as well as a second-team NABC All-East selection. He stands second on the career steals list (163), third on the career three-point field goal percentage list (.401), and 13th in career scoring (1,101).

Grazioli averaged 11.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and a team-high 0.7 blocked shots. He led the League and ranked 19th in the nation with a Hobart single season record field goal percentage of .621. Grazioli ranks 10th in the conference in blocked shots and 14th in scoring. He reached double digits in scoring 12 times, averaging 17.3 ppg over the final nine games of the campaign. Grazioli scored a career-high 25 points twice this season, at Union and at Rensselaer.

Hobart finished the season with a 12-12 overall record, including an 8-6 mark in the Liberty League. Four of the Statesmen’s six conference losses came be three points or less.
