GENEVA, N.Y.—For the second week in a row, Hobart senior guard Colby Feane (Weedsport/Weedsport, N.Y.) was honored by the Liberty League. He was named the Men's Basketball Co-Guard of the Week today after earning the praise solo last week.

Feane averaged 20.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in a 1-1 conference weekend for the Statesmen. On Friday against Vassar, he scored 24 points, handed out three assists, and made three steals in a 91-83 overtime win. On Saturday against Rensselaer, Feane scored 17 points and dished out four assists in a 75-72 loss. For the week, he shot 52.2 percent from the floor (12-23), 50 percent from beyond the arc (4-8), and 81.3 percent from the line (13-16).

For the season, Feane leads Hobart in scoring (17.5), three-point field goal percentage (.457, 16-35), and steals (2.1). He has 969 career points, 31 shy of becoming the 19th member of the Statesmen’s 1,000-point club.

After a 2-5 start, Hobart is 3-1 in the New Year. The Statesmen return to action on Jan. 17, when they travel to Hamilton. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
