Joe Flacke

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart senior forward Joe Flacke (Schenectady/Schenectady, N.Y.) was named the Rochester Area College Athletics Tri-Male Athlete of the Week. He shared the award with a wrestler from Brockport State and a track athlete from the University of Rochester.

In three games, including two wins for Hobart, Flacke posted two double-doubles sandwiched around a career-high 29-point game. He went back home on Feb. 4, and made 13-of-14 field goal attempts, including the winning basket with 21 seconds remaining, in a 66-65 triumph over Union.

Flacke also had 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 72-60 win at Hartwick on Feb. 1, and added 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds at Skidmore on Feb. 5. He made 54.1 percent of his field goal attempts for the week.

Flacke also was named the Liberty League Forward of the Week.
