GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart senior Joe Flacke (Schenectady/ Schenectady, N.Y.) was named the Liberty League Men’s Basketball Forward of the Week this afternoon.

Flacke scored a career-high 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor and 3-of-4 from the line, in Hobart's season-opening win over Keuka College, 81-67. Flacke also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds, dished out three assists, blocked a shot, and made two steals without a turnover.

The Statesmen’s leading scorer in 2003-04, Flacke averaged 12.2 ppg and 7.0 rpg.

Hobart returns to action at 7 p.m., on Nov. 30, at RIT.
