Geneva, N.Y.—The start time for the Hobart basketball season opener has been changed from an

afternoon to night games. The Statesmen will open the 2004-05 season against Keuka College at 8 p.m., on Nov. 20 in Bristol Gym.

Under the direction of seventh-year Head Coach Rich Roche, Hobart returns four of its top five scorers from a year ago. Senior forward Joe Flacke (Schenectady/Schenectady, N.Y.) led the Statesmen in scoring in 2003-04 at 12.2 ppg, while junior forward Tim Apuzzo (Greely/Cumberland, Maine) was Hobart’s top rebounder (7.3 rpg).

The Statesmen are looking to improve on a 9-16 overall record, including a 4-10 mark in the Liberty League.
