February 16, 2004 Clarke began the week with a career-high 24 points against Hamilton, knocking down 8-of-16 from the floor, including 5-of-10 beyond the arc, and all three of his free throw attempts, in a 92-76 loss to the Continentals. On Friday night against RPI, he produced a team-high 19 points, including three more trifectas and an 8-for-8 showing at the charity stripe in an 81-68 loss to the Red Hawks. The following afternoon, Clarke made his second collegiate start, scoring 16 points in an 82-58 win over Vassar. He knocked down 6-of-12 against the Brewers, including three more from long range. For the week, he shot .474 from the floor, .407 from three-point range, and .923 from the free throw line. In 19 games this season, Clarke is averaging 7.2 ppg, placing him sixth on the team in that category. Hes second on the team and 12th in the conference in three-point field goal percentage (.351). Hobart (8-14) plays its final home game of the season at 8 p.m., on Feb. 17, when the Hartwick College Hawks (1-19) visit Bristol Gymnasium. |
