Hobart seeks 1st conference crown in North Country

April 22 , 2005

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart crew will seek its first Liberty League Championship in the North Country on April 23. The Statesmen will participate in the second annual conference championship on the St. Lawrence River, hosted by St. Lawrence University.

In 2004, Hobart won the varsity eight and the freshmen eight races, and finished second in the varsity four, but finished second in the team standings to defending champion, Rensselaer. This season, the Statesmen have entered a boat in all five championship events.
