WHITNEY POINT, N.Y.-- The Hobart College crew team finished fourth overall the New York State Rowing Championships this weekend. The Statesmen Varsity Eight dominated all Division III participants, finishing behind only Division I squads with scholarship athletes from Dowling, Marist, and Colgate. Hobart's junior varsity also finished a strong fourth in its first championship appearance. With their performance, the Statesmen qualified for the Avaya International Regatta in Princeton, N.J., on May 11-12.
