ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Four Hobart cross country runners participated in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, which was hosted by Roberts Wesleyan, over the weekend.

Sophomore Joe Bochynski (Amherst/Amherst, N.Y.) was the first Statesmen to cross the finish line, covering the 8k course in a season-low time of 31:48.6. Bochynski edged out first-year Bill Jordan (Grand River Academy/Akron, Ohio) for 86th place. Jordan also turned in a season-best time (32:00.3).

Hobart returns to action on Oct. 22, competing at the Saratoga Invitational. Racing will begin at 2:30 p.m.
