WATERFORD, CONN.—The Hobart cross country team competed at the ECAC Championships at Harkness Memorial State Park this afternoon.

Sophomore Joe Bochynski (Amherst/Amherst, N.Y.) was the first Statesmen to cross the finish line, covering the 8-kilometer course in 31:19. He finished 215th out of 265 runners. First-year Bill Jordan (Grand River Valley/Akron, Ohio) turned in a season-best time of 31:39.

Hobart will return to action on Nov. 12 when the Statesmen compete at the NCAA Regional Championships.
