CANTON, N.Y.—The Hobart College cross country team finished 13th in the eight-kilometer Ronald C. Hoffman Invitational this afternoon. Host St. Lawrence took top honors with 52 points followed by Vermont (76) and Oswego (78), respectively.

Senior captain Eric Barnes (Schalmont/Duanesburg, N.Y.) was the first Hobart runner to cross the finish line, registering a time of 30:13. Sophomore Joseph Bochynski (Amherst/Amherst, N.Y.) turned in a quality time of 31:52.

Hobart will return to action on Oct. 1 at the Liberty League Championships, which is hosted by Hamilton.
