Statesmen compete at Pat Peterson Invite
September 11 , 2004 OSWEGO, N.Y.—Hobart College sophomore Mike Guglielmo (Northern Highlands Regional/Allendale, N.J.) paced the Statesmen this past weekend with an 8k time of 31:01 at the Pat Peterson Invitational hosted by Oswego State. Hobart finished 11th 12 teams with 344 points, while Geneseo captured the victory with a low score of 23 points.
First-years Joseph Bochynski (Amherst Central/Amherst, N.Y.) and Jeffrey Brauer (George School/Princeton, N.J.) paced each other, covering the course in 32:05 and 32:49, respectively. Fellow classmate Nicholas Baranco (St. Andrews-Sewanee School/Sewanee, Tenn.) finished the afternoon with a time of 33:17, while sophomore Ted Williams (Germantown Friends/Blue Bell, Pa.) rounded out the Statesmen’s five runners, touching the tape in 34:25.
Hobart runs again on Sept. 18, hosting the Hobart Invitational. The gun is scheduled to off at 11:45 a.m. |
