Hobart finishes 7th at conference championships

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College cross country team finished seventh at the Liberty League Cross Country Championships this afternoon at Hamilton College. Rensselaer and St. Lawrence finish tied atop the standings.

The Statesmen senior captain Eric Barnes (Schalmont/Duanesburg, N.Y.) crossed the finish line first for Hobart, covering the 8-kilometer course in 30:33 to earn a 61st place finish.

Hobart will return to action on Oct. 15 at the Robert Wesleyan Invitational.
