Ben Flanagan

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart first-year Ben Flanagan (Masconomet/Boxford, Mass.) was named the Men’s Liberty League Cross Country Rookie of the Week today.

Flanagan placed second out of 56 runners in the Hobart Invitational last Saturday, finishing the 8-kilometer course in a time of 27:48 to lead the Statesmen to a fourth-place team finish. Six teams competed in the race.

Hobart will be in action again on Sept. 23 at the Houghton Invitational at 11:45 a.m.
