Ben Flanagan

ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Hobart first-year Ben Flanagan (Masconomet/Boxford, Mass.) was the top finisher for the Hobart cross country team at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational last Saturday. Flanagan has been the first Statesman to cross the finish line in every race so far this season.

A three-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Flanagan finished 13th out of 82 runners last weekend. He completed the 8-kilometer course in a time of 27:43 to lead the Statesmen to an eighth-place team finish.

Hobart will be in action next on Oct. 21 when it travels to the Saratoga Invitational. The race is set to begin at 2:30 p.m.
