HOUGHTON, N.Y.—Hobart first-year Ben Flanagan (Masconomet/Boxford, Mass.) was again the top finisher for the cross country team in the Houghton Invitational today. Flanagan came in eighth place out of 69 runners, completing the 8k race in a time of 27:16.

The Statesmen recorded a fifth-place team finish out of six teams. Rookie Andrew Ockenden (Conestoga/Paoli, Pa.) and senior Mike Guglielmo (Northern Highlands/Allendale, N.J.) took the 44th and 45th spots, respectively.

The Hobart harriers will be in action again Sept. 30 at the Liberty League Championships, starting at noon.
