Ben Flanagan

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College first-year Ben Flanagan (Masconomet/Boxford, Mass.) was named the Liberty League Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week, after leading the Statesmen to a second place team finish in the Cross Country Only Conference Championships on Saturday.

Flanagan was the top finisher for Hobart, coming in second out of 60 runners. He covered the 8-kilometer course in a time of 27:26. This is the fourth time he has collected a Liberty League weekly award.

The Statesmen will be back in action on Nov. 4 when they travel to Williamstown, Mass., for the ECAC Championships, set to begin at 11 a.m.
