Ben Flanagan

GENEVA, N.Y.—First-year Hobart cross country runner Ben Flanagan (Masconomet/Boxford, Mass.) was again awarded the Liberty League Men’s Cross Country Co-Rookie of the Week. This is the third time Flanagan has won the award this season.

Flanagan was the top finisher for Hobart last week, placing eighth out of 69 runners in the Houghton Invitational on Saturday. He completed the 8-kilometer course in a time of 27:16. The rookie has been the Statesmen’s top harrier since joining the team this fall.

Hobart will be in action again on Sept. 30 in the Liberty League Championships at Hamilton College, starting at noon.
