Middleton leads Statesmen at UCAA Championships

GENEVA—Hobart hosted the 2003 UCAA Cross Country Championships this afternoon. Senior Rob Middleton (Vero Beach, Fla.) led the Statesmen, covering the 8-kilometer course in 29:25 to place 34th overall. He has led Hobart across the line in all five races this season.

First-year Michael Guglielmo (Allendale, N.J.) was the second Statesmen home taking 44th place (30:28).

As a team, Hobart finished last in the six-team field.
