Statesmen 10th at RPI Invitational

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.--Senior Steve Chabot (Keene/Keene, N.H.) was Hobart's top finisher with an 8k time of 28:08 as the Statesman finished 10th at the 2001 RPI College Invitational hosted by RPI. Chabot finished 42nd.

Senior Justin Siuta (Niagara-Wheatfield/N. Tonawanda, N.Y.) was the Statesmen's second best finisher with a time of 29:45. First-Year Scott Thoms (Brooks/West Chatham, Mass.) followed Siuta, running a time of 31:15. First-year Drew Mosher (Harrisville/Harrisville, N.Y.) ran a time of 31:55, while sophomore Josh Navikonis (St. Georges/Hudson, Mass.) posted a time of 34:21. First-year Max Zimmerley (Holliston/Holliston, Mass.) rounded out the group at 35:47.

The Statesmen are back in action Oct. 27, when they run in the Heron Invitational.
