October 13, 2001 CANTON, N.Y.--Senior Steve Chabot (Keene/Keene, N.H.) ran an 8k time of 29:32 to lead Hobart to a fifth place finish at the 2001 Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational hosted by St. Lawrence University. Chabot finished 28th. Senior Justin Siuta (Niagara-Wheatfield/N. Tonawanda, N.Y.) was the Statesmen's second best finisher with a time of 30:20 for 38th place. Sophomore Robert Portik-Middleton (Singapore American School/Vero Beach, Fla.) followed Siuta, running a time of 32:04 to finish 50th.First-years Drew Mosher (Harrisville/Harrisville, N.Y.) and Max Zimmerley (Holliston/Holliston, Mass.) rounded out the group of with times of 32:12 amd 38:11, repectively. The Statesmen are back in action Oct. 20, when they travel to Saratoga
Springs, for the Saratoga Invitational. |
