November 3, 2001 WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass..--Senior Steve Chabot (Keene/Keene, N.H.) was Hobart's top finisher with an 8k time of 28:28 as the Statesman finished 23rd at the 2001 Eastern College Athletic Association hosted by Williams College. Chabot finished 54th. First-Year Scott Thoms (Brooks/West Chatham, Mass.) was the Statesmen's next finisher, running a time of 30:23. First-year Drew Mosher (Harrisville/Harrisville, N.Y.) followed Thoms with a time of 31:33, while sophomore Robert Portik-Middleton (Singapore American School/Vero Beach, Fla.) posted a time of 34:12. Sophomore Joshua Navikonis (St. Georges/Hudson, Mass.) and first-year Max Zimmerley (Holliston/Holliston, Mass.) rounded out the group with times of 34:12 and 36:26, respectively. The Statesmen are back in action Nov. 10, when they travel to New York
City for the NCAA Regional Championship. |
