Kevin Olson

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart first-year kicker Kevin Olson (Mohawk/Mohawk, N.Y.) was named to the D3football.com team of the week this afternoon after helping Hobart to a 56-48 triple overtime victory over Rensselaer.

Olson recorded 12 points against the Engineers, tying the Hobart single game record for points by kicking. He converted all six of this PATs, to improve to 13-for-13 for his career. He also kicked field goals from 29 yards and 47 yards, the latter the second-longest in program history.

Olson, the only starting kicker in the conference who has not missed a point after try, is second in the Liberty League in scoring by kickers and eighth in scoring overall at 6.3 ppg.
