Drew Slocum

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College senior golf captain Drew Slocum (University School/Milwaukee, Wis.) earned a spot on the 2005 Liberty League All-Academic Team.

At the conference championships, Slocum shot an even par-144 during the two-day tournament to finish third and earn a place on the All-Liberty League first-team. He played in all 11 rounds for Hobart this season, finishing the fall second on the team with a 77.0 average. He has a career scoring average of 78.2, the lowest by a Statesman since 2000.

Slocum is an economics and political science double major.

Student-athletes from the Liberty League earn a place on the All-Academic Team based on the following criteria: at least a sophomore academic standing and a minimum 3.2 cumulative grade point average.
