SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.--The Hobart golf team finished ninth at the 22nd annual Skidmore Invitational Tournament. The Statesmen posted a team score of 338 in the 11-team field.

Sophomore Matt Coté (Trinity Pawling/Kirkland, Quebec) fired the low round for Hobart, turning in a five-over 77 and tying for 13th place. First-year Drew Slocum (University School of Milwaukee/Milwaukee, Wis.) was just four strokes back, tied for 26th place.

Fifty-four golfers competed in the event at the par 72 McGregor Links Country Club.
