 April 21, 2002 MARCELLUS, N.Y.--The Hobart College golf team finished 12th at the 2002 
        Le Moyne College Spring Invitational at the Sunset Ridge Golf Course this 
        weekend. The tournament kicked off the Statesmen's spring schedule. 
        First-year Ryan Malet (Walter Johnson/Rockville, Md.) topped all Hobart 
        players with rounds of 84 and 81 (165) to finish 33rd overall. Sophomore 
        Fiver Soraruf (Home School/Kennett Square, Pa.) followed Malet with rounds 
        of 83 and 87 (170). First-year Matt Cote (Trinity-Pawling/Montreal, Quebec) 
        shot 94 and 81 (175). Senior captain James Starr (Canterbury School/Douglas 
        Manor, N.Y.) and first-year Ryan Wilson (Brooks School/Topsfield, Mass.) 
        rounded out the groups with scores of 184 (96, 88) and 206 (111, 95), 
        respectively. The Statesmen are back in action on April 22, at the Palamountain 
        Tournament hosted by Skidmore College.  |
