CANTON, N.Y.--The Hobart College golf team competed in the two-day St. Lawrence Invitational over the weekend. The Statesmen finished 15th overall.

First-year Matt Coté (Trinity Pawling/Kirkland, Quebec) led Hobart on Saturday and for the weekend, with a team-low round of 81 to open the Invitational and and 85 on Sunday, tying for 47th place in the 76-golfer field. Sophomore Ryan Wilson (Brooks School/Topsfield, Mass.) was two strokes back in 56th place with rounds of 82 and 86.

The invitational was played at the par-72 St. Lawrence Golf Course.
