GENEVA, N.Y.—Two players on the Hobart College hockey team were honored by the ECAC West late this afternoon for their performances during the week ending Nov. 26. Junior forward Conor Bradley (West Hartford, Conn.) and first-year Keith Longo (Hopedale, Mass.) were recognized as the Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

The most valuable player of the Babson Invitational Tournament, Bradley registered six points (4-2) to lead the Statesmen to the championship. On Nov. 26, he recorded four points, including three power-play goals for his first collegiate hat trick, to power Hobart to a 6-0 win over Williams. The following afternoon, Bradley added a goal and an assist in a 5-1 victory over Milwaukee School of Engineering. He leads the team in points (17), goals (10), and power-play goals (7) and is second in assists (7).

Longo stopped 50 of the 51 shots he faced this weekend to earn his third and fourth wins of the season. During the semifinals, he made 23 saves to earn the shutout, making him just the second Statesmen to post back-to-back shutouts. In the title match, Longo stopped a season-high 27 shots. His 180 minutes and 24 seconds of consecutive shutout hockey is the longest individual streak in Hobart history. Thomas Kelliher ’06 held the previous mark, blanking the opposition for 143 minutes and 15 seconds spanning four games during the 2003-04 season. Longo leads the conference in goals against average (1.00) and save percentage (.958)

Riding a five-game win streak, Hobart (6-2-0) debuted at No. 12 in the latest edition of the USCHO.com Division III poll. The Statesmen return to action at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 when they host Neumann at The Cooler.
