GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College first-year Dimitri Papaevagelou (Windham, N.H.) earned a pair of weekly accolades today after turning in two strong performances over the weekend. He was named the ECAC West Goaltender of the Week and captured Rochester Area College Athletics Co-Male Athlete of the Week honors.

Papaevagelou helped the Statesmen run their unbeaten streak to a record-tying seven games this past weekend, making a combined 50 saves and posting an impressive 1.92 goals against average and a .926 save percentage.

Against eighth-ranked RIT on Friday night, he made 34 saves to lead 14th-ranked Hobart to a 2-2 tie. Both RIT goals came on five-on-three power plays. The following afternoon Papaevagelou had 16 stops in a 4-2 win over Lebanon Valley to garner his fourth win of the year.

Unbeaten on the year with a 4-0-3 record, he ranks ninth in Division III hockey in save percentage (.922), 10th in goals against average (2.00), and 22nd in win percentage (.786).

The 14th ranked Statesmen will play host to Wesleyan University and SUNY Oswego this weekend at The Cooler. Hobart will face off against the Cardinals on Dec. 10, at 7 p.m., and take on the 11th-ranked Lakers the following afternoon at 4 p.m.
