GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College ice hockey team will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2002-03. Founded by Charlie P. Boswell II ’50 in 1962 as a club sport, the Statesmen hockey team gained varsity status in 1979.

Hobart will commemorate its 40th season on the weekend of Nov. 9 following the Manhattanville game at 4 p.m. A dinner will be held at the Geneva Country Club for players, parents, and alumi at 7 p.m. For further information about the weekend contact Head Coach Mark Taylor.
