GENEVA, N.Y.–The Eastern College Athletic Conference has recognized Hobart College hockey player Kevin Coakley (Tilton/Duxbury, Mass.) for his play in two games for the Statesmen last week. The forward is the ECAC West Rookie of the Week for the week ending Jan. 20.

Coakley netted his team-leading eighth and ninth goals of the season on the road against Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts on Jan. 16, and SUNY-Fredonia on Jan. 19. The first-year has played in all 17 games for Hobart this season and is the team's third-leading scorer with nine goals and four assists for 13 points.

The Statesmen (6-11-0, 1-1-0 UCAA) return to league play this weekend with back-to-back games against Neumann and Manhattanville on Jan. 25-26, respectively. All eight of Hobart's remaining games are ECAC West contests.
