Cornell-Hobart game time changed

April 27, 2006

GENEVA, N.Y.—The start of the 126th Hobart-Cornell lacrosse game on May 5 has been changed. The opening faceoff will be pushed back to 7:30 p.m. to accommodate the Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Tournament semifinals.

The Statesmen and Big Red will square off on McCooey Field in the oldest rivalry in collegiate lacrosse. The two teams first met in 1898, with Hobart taking home a 2-1 victory.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, $1 for children under 12. HWS students, faculty, and staff are free with a valid HWS ID.

Fans unable to make it to McCooey Field, can follow all of the action online. The site includes streaming audio from WEOS-FM and live statistics.
