GENEVA, N.Y.—Recent Hobart College graduate Chris David (Georgetown Prep/Silver Spring, Md.) will represent the Statesmen in the 2007 U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association North-South Classic. The annual all-star event will be played at 5:45 p.m. on May 25 at Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore.

One of the top scoring midfielders in the nation this season, David was second on the team and seventh in the ECAC Lacrosse League with 23 goals. He registered a season-high three goals four times this season, including a season-high four points in an 11-10 win over then 17th-ranked Fairfield.

David finished his career with 84 points on 74 goals and 10 assists. Among Division I Statesmen, he ranks ninth in career points and is tied with Mike Conklin ’06 for sixth in career goals.

A two-time All-ECAC selection, David is the 103rd Hobart player to earn a spot in the North-South game since 1940 when William Dobbin '40 and Richard Ferris '40 were Hobart’s first North-South All-Stars.
