June 5, 2004 A midfielder, Joy was a first-team All-Patriot League selection after scoring 17 goals and four assists this season. He scored at least a point in 11 of the 15 games he played in this season, including a season-high three points twice, recording a goal and two assists against Ohio State on April 17 and posting a three-goal performance in the regular season finale against Cornell on May 7. Last month, Joy became the 92nd Hobart player selected to play in the North-South Classic. The 63rd annual event begins at 3 p.m., on June 12, at Nazareth Stadium on the campus of Nazareth College. Four Statesmen have been chosen in the leagues supplemental draft: David Cain 00 and Bill Warder 96 in 2001, Nathan Roost 98 in 2002, and Chris Rogers in 2003. The nations premier outdoor lacrosse league, the six-team MLL began its fourth season last month. |
