Phil DaCosta

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College first-year goalkeeper Phil DaCosta (Manchester Memorial/Manchester, N.H.) was selected the Liberty League Co-Rookie of the Week this afternoon.

During a 2-0 home victory over Vassar, DaCosta registered four saves to pick up his third shutout of the season. He is second in the conference in shutouts with three. The following afternoon, DaCosta turned away five Rensselaer offerings as the Statesmen edged the Red Hawks 2-1.

Hobart (7-7-2, 3-4-0 Liberty League) will close out the regular season on Oct. 29 when the Statesmen host Fredonia at 1:30 p.m.
