GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College senior midfielder Micke Subotowicz (Farsta Gymnasium/Stockholm, Sweden) recently was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Northeast second team. He is making his fourth appearance on the All-Region team.

A three-time All-Liberty League first-team pick, Subotowicz led the Statesmen in points (23), goals (8), assists (7), and game-winning goals (4). On Sept. 8, he netted a season-high four points (2-0), including the game-winner, to power the Statesmen to 3-1 victory at RIT.

Subotowicz was named the RACA Co-Male Athlete of the Week after scoring a total of four points (1-3) in a pair of wins over conference foes Vassar and Rensselaer. The 2003 Liberty League Player of the Year ranks second on the Statesmen career points list with 92. On Oct. 8, Subotowicz recorded his 27th career helper to break the Hobart career record set by Jeff Saunders ’92. He raised the assists standard to 30.

Hobart finished the 2005 campaign with a 7-8-2 record, including a 3-4-0 mark in the league.
