Dan Riso

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College soccer forward Dan Riso (Red Hook Central/Red Hook, N.Y.) was named to the D3Kicks.com Team of the Week, and was tabbed the Rochester Area College Athletics Co-Male Athlete of the Week after his performance in the Golisano Children’s Hospital Tournament held at Brockport this past weekend. Riso also collected the Liberty League Co-Offensive Performer of the Week award.

Riso netted three second-half goals to guide Hobart to a 6-1 win over Alfred in the first round of the tournament. The sophomore was later named the Tournament Most Valuable Player as the Statesmen went on to defeat the host Golden Eagles 1-0 in overtime in the championship game.

Hobart will return to action on Sept. 7 when it hosts RIT at 4:30 p.m.
