Leading the team and the UCAA in assists, Subotowicz was a mainstay in the middle third of the field for the Statesmen. Third on the team with 13 points, he started all 20 games for Hobart, earning second-team All-UCAA and NSCAA third-team All-Northeast accolades. He is the recent recipient of the Abe Solomon Rookie Award, presented to the Colleges top first-year athlete. Hobart finished the 2002 season at 10-8-2, its best record since 1999, earning a bid to the inaugural UCAA Tournament, where they lost in the opening round to eventual NCAA semifinalist St. Lawrence. |
