November 15, 2001 GENEVA, N.Y.--Senior Hobart College soccer player (Jamesville-DeWitt/Fayetteville, N.Y.) was named to the All-Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association second-team. Cooke served as the Statesmen's captain for the second-straight season in 2001. The back anchored Hobart's defense all season and was second on the team in scoring with four goals and an assist for nine points. In his four seasons as a Statesman, Cooke scored six goals and recorded five assists for 17 points. From his sophomore through his senior season, the defender started 54 of the Hobart' s 55 games. In 1998, he was the Abe Solomon Memorial Award winner, Hobart's Rookie of the Year, as well as the soccer team's Rookie of the Year. Cooke was also honorable mention All-UCAA in 1999. Hobart finished the year with a 7-9-3 record, including a 2-4-1 league
