GENEVA, N.Y.--The Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association named junior forward Adam Neary (Niskayuna/Niskayuna, N.Y.) its Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 23. He helped the Statesmen to a blowout win at Utica College on Sept. 19.

Neary exploded for three goals in Hobart's 6-1 win over Utica College. In one game, the junior topped his point total from last season. Neary is currently second on the team in scoring with three goals and an assist for seven points.

The Statesmen (3-2-2) host the University of Rochester on Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. Hobart tied the Yellowjackets, 1-1, in Rochester in its season finale last season. The Statesmen hit the road this weekend for games against UCAA rivals Union College and Skidmore College on Sept. 28-29, respectively.
