Henry Clutsam

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College senior Henry Clutsam (Blair Academy/New Vernon, N.J.) was named the Liberty League Squash Player of the Week this afternoon after a 2-0 weekend at the No. 6 position.

On Friday, Clutsam was the lone winner for the Statesmen in an 8-1 loss to ninth-ranked Williams, dispatching Charlie Giammattei, 3-0 (9-7, 9-6, 9-4). The following day, Clutsam helped Hobart rally to beat Amherst, 5-4, with a 3-0 (10-8, 9-7, 9-4) victory over Stu Landesberg. Clutsam is 3-0 overall for the season.

The 12th-ranked Statesmen are 9-2 overall and return to action on Jan. 26, hosting Liberty League opponent Hamilton College at 6 p.m., at the Smith Squash Center.
