GENENVA, N.Y.—Winning four matches in straight 3-0 sets, the Hobart squash team edged Northeastern 5-4 this afternoon at the Smith Squash Center. The Statesmen improve to 3-14 on the season.

In the morning session, Hobart dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 15 Navy.

First-year Cale Forgues (Ridley College/Kemptville, Ontario), classmate Peter Hansen (Woodberry Forest School/Middleburg, Va.), junior John Keating (Mainland/Linwood, N.J.), and first-year Ken O’Connor (Trinity-Pawling School/Pawling, N.Y.) were straight set winners, while junior Prateek Patni (Daly College/Indore, India) earned a 3-1 victory for the Statesmen.

Hobart returns to the courts at 6 p.m. on Feb. 9, when the Statesmen travel to Liberty League rival Rochester.
