Statesmen squash blanks Hamilton, 9-0

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College squash team turned in a dominating performance this evening, blanking Liberty League opponent Hamilton College, 9-0 at the Dr. Frank P. Smith ’36 Squash Center. The Statesmen improve to 10-2 overall and remain unbeaten (5-0) against conference foes.
Hobart did not drop a single game, winning each of its nine matches 3-0. Senior Tejvir Rathore (Daly College/Indore, M.P. India) had the most dominating outing as he dropped just two points in a 3-0 (9-0, 9-1, 9-1) victory at the No. 1 spot. Sophomore Andrew McDonough (Summit/Summit, N.J.) also was outstanding, sacrificing just three points in a 3-0 (9-0, 9-0, 9-3) win at No. 9.
The 12th-ranked Statesmen will play again on Jan. 29, when Western Ontario visits the Smith Squash Center. That match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
