Statesmen down Yellowjackets, 9-0

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College squash team earned its 10th straight victory over University of Rochester, blanking the 24th-ranked Yellowjackets 9-0 at the Frank P. Smith ’36 Squash Center. The 13th-ranked Statesmen improve to 13-7 overall and are a perfect 6-0 against Liberty League opponents.
Senior Freddy Cook (St. George’s School/Greenwich, Conn.) pushed his win streak to five games with a 3-0 (9-5, 9-4, 9-3) win over Ravi Gupta at No. 7.
Hobart returns to action on Feb. 25, at the College Squash Association Team Championships at Harvard. The pairings have yet to be determined.
