HILTON HEAD, S.C.—The Hobart tennis team lost to Colby-Sawyer, 4-3, this afternoon.

The Statesmen (2-6) got singles victories from first-year James Micheroni (Sharon/Sharon, Mass.), sophomore Charlie Davis (Manlius-Pebble Hill School/Cazenovia, N.Y.), and senior Adam Raffa (Concord-Carlisle/Concord, Mass.) at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, respectively. Hobart also won at first doubles behind the tandem of Micheroni and Davis, but the Chargers battled back to win at No. 2 and No. 3.

The Statesmen close out their southern swing on March 17, when they tangle with Wooster at noon.
