GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart sophomore Adam Raffa (Concord-Carlisle/Concord, Mass.) was named the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Tennis Performer of the Week for the week ending March 21.

Raffa posted a 4-1 singles record last week, winning all four of his matches at No. 3, before falling at No. 2 in the Statesmen’s final match of spring break. All four of his victories were straight set triumphs, including a dominating 6-0, 6-1 win over Wheaton’s Nick Potter, one of only two points Hobart secured in a loss to the Lyons.

Raffa also posted a 4-1 mark in doubles play over spring break. For the season, he boasts an 8-3 singles record and an 8-4 mark in doubles.

The Statesmen will play their first home match of the season at 4 p.m., on March 26, against Rochester.
