Statesmen down Union for shot at UCAA title

April 26, 2003

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.--The Hobart College tennis team needed just four individual singles performances this afternoon to get past Union College in the UCAA Semifinals. The Statesmen garnered victories in the first through fourth singles spots to earn a chance to win the UCAA title.

Seeded second in the tournament, the Statesmen are 14-6 overall this season and will match up with top-seeded Skidmore at 11 a.m. on April 27.
