HWS sailing finishes 6th in KP North Regatta

GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart and William Smith sailing team posted a sixth place finish in the 20-team field at the North Spring Qualifier No. 1 hosted by Kings Point on April 1-2.
Sailing in the A Division, senior Zach Goldman (Lutheran/Huntington, N.Y.) and sophomore Bill Healy (Newark/Newark, N.Y.) turned in a second place showing, finishing 15 out of 20 races in the top five. In B Division, senior Amo Ross (Middlesex School/Basking Ridge, N.J.) and sophomore Hunter Farris (Trinity/Lakewood, Ohio) took sixth place with nine top-five finishes.
William Smith sailors placed seventh out of 12 teams in the Joseph Duplin Trophy hosted by Tufts University on Upper Mystic Lake over the weekend.
