Hobart’s Moore in 2nd at Singlehanded Nationals

GENEVA, N.Y.—Hobart College senior Trevor Moore (Woodstock Union/Pomfret, Vt.) is in second place following the second of three day’s of racing in the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Men’s Singlehanded National Championships. Through the first 12 races, he has 71 points, 10 more than the regatta leader, Stanford’s Emery Wager.

Moore was tied for first after 10 races, but slipped to second before the end of the day. He has won two races so far and finished second in two more.

Sophomore Rob Crane (Holderness School/Darien, Conn.) is also competing in the 16-sailor regatta. He is in 13th place.

Hosted by Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., the ICSA Singlehanded Championships conclude with six races on Nov. 5.
